  • IXL - an online educational program for 3rd - 5th graders to practice targeted math or language skills. Ask your child's teacher for their login!
  • Raz Kids - an online leveled reading program for grades K and up, where your child can read assigned books and earn points. Your child's teacher will send home login information if their class is enrolled.
  • Moby Max - an online educational program for math, language arts, and science. The program assesses your child and gives lessons based on their individual needs. Ask your child's teacher for their login and password!
  • Brain Pop - A fun website where students can watch short, educational videos on different topics! Ask your child's teacher for the login and password!
  • Starwalk Kids - Great digital books online. Login & Password: sweetwater
  • Starfall - a website where children have fun learning to read. Great for grades K-2!
  • A+ Math - this website helps students improve their math skills interactively with flashcards and games. It also provides worksheets and homework help. Great for grades K-5!​
  • Science News - information and resources on science topics of interest to young people.
  • US Government - students can explore the U.S. government in a fun way.
  • PBS Kids - a safe place for kids to explore and play educational games with their favorite PBS kids characters.
  • FunBrain- an online educational games for kids of all ages including math, grammar, science, spelling, and history.

Textbooks Online

Many of the student books are available online. Your child can log on to VPortal from home by going to the county website, clicking on VPortal, and typing 1alpha (each student has a 4 digit alpha code) Their password is their 8 digit birthday. From here they can access many websites, applications, and textbooks.  They can also check their grades anytime!​​
