Extended Day Enrichment Program - EDEP
Sweetwater Elementary has a wonderful after school program! Students are divided by age groups and provided snack each day. Hours are from after school until 5:30. Some of their activities include:
- Homework Time
- Playground Time
- Special Events
- Seasonal Crafts
If you are interested in registering your child, please go to the front office to see if there is currently an opening. If there are no openings, you can be put on the waiting list.
The EDEP offers fee-based after school programs at 40 elementary schools in Volusia County. Program hours are immediately after school ends until 5:45 p.m.
The EDEP provides a safe environment for elementary school students to develop friendships and explore new hobbies and interests. More than 3,500 students participate in offerings such as homework monitoring, music, arts & crafts, computer skills, recreational activities and field trips.
